Medicare Supplement
- Supplemental (Medigap) policies help pay Medicare out-of-pocket copayment, coinsurance, and deductible expenses. The plans are offered through private insurance companies under guidelines and rules set by Medicare.
Part D
- Medicare Part D (Medicare prescription drug coverage) helps cover the cost of prescription drugs offered by private insurance carriers.
Covered California
- Covered California is the health insurance marketplace in the U.S. state of California established under the federal Patient Protection and Affordable Care Act. The exchange enables eligible individuals and small businesses to purchase private health insurance coverage at federally subsidized rates. Person may also apply for Med-Cal through the Cover California portal.
